Many years ago when I had a nifty Casio QVX-2800 with a whole heady 2MP I bought a cheap Kodak wide angle converter and TBH it has fairly hopeless. Part of the problem was quality, another part of you are trying to get details that are smaller than the sensor was intended for. On the other hand I have read reports of camera manufacturers making wide angle converters that are very good but these are camera specific. This adapter looks like it is a generic 49mm threaded unit. I suspect that it is fairly hopeless but it might just turn out to be great and it is only £17 not not too much to take a chance with.
Basically work on the principal it is rubbish and stand a chance of being pleasantly surprised.
