Chequered History

They're keeping the pound. No money to be made! ;)
I just could not figure why he wanted to keep the pound anyway, I thought the idea was to have true independence and not be dictated to. I think Alex being a banker knew how it was almost impossible to do otherwise without the finances going tits up.

Forgot to say Rob how much I enjoy the above photograph .

Struck by all the uprightness, the calumniation of the man

Word for the day: calumniation. I like it!

Salmond will still be in charge for another month, and then his deputy, Nicola Sturgeon (both have fishy names...) will take over. Do not take her lightly, she is very formidable and popular.

Of the two fishy characters I believe she tips the scales and is more canny than Alex and a fine orator. I don't though fortunately have to take her in anyway as the politics in your country are up too yourselves as it aught to be.

It's a lovely building. Apparently the whole square was like that one, and there's a garden area in the middle. The university gobbled it all up.

It's hard for a norseman to follow that conversation, but it is actually the picture I am here to give my praise to. Love the stones and the character leaving the picture frame whether he is a banker or not. Very upright man it seems. Very good Rob, really like it.
