look out for your local town / city events for this day , i will be in manchester with nephew and cameras, could make for some interesting photos

Manchester Events
Head down to Chinatown and Albert Square on Sunday 29 Jan - stalls will be open from 11am, enjoy performances between 12 noon -7pm, and marvel at the fireworks display from approx 6pm. The high pole lion dance performance is set to be the most spectacular in the UK so far!

your not wrong Davie i am originally from Manchester and get back VERY often, i have even dated with a couple of Chinese girls back in my younger days but that's a different story, i am soooooo looking forward to this event.

Was down at Old Trafford couple years back and caught the tail end of it which was good. Was pre camera hobby tho so no any pics :(
 
was that Brian. We go down to watch United a couple times a year and take in some sites (pubs) over the weekend. Bus station is right on Chinatown and some of the stuff in the shops is so cool
