The sadness in me
moves like water
under the frozen surface
of the river bed in winter...

Yet, you remind me this image
of solidarity, staying with me.
Cheering me. Thank you, friends...

A misty day before rain, a soothing walk in nature, and this symbol of solidarity before my eyes...
Mamiya 7 with 65mm lens. Kodak TMAX100 film. Gelatin silver print on 16"x20" Ilford MGIV fiberbase paper, limited edition.

I really look forward to your contributions here, Nihat. Don't ever stop! The combination of poetry and image works really well, better (I can't believe myself saying this) than music and image. Maybe because we can take in one at a time. Anyway, I can imagine being at this scene, and appreciating the tree cluster in the same way (though I could never capture it so well on film as you have!).

Thank you very much, Rob. :)

In response to the bracketed sentence which I read as a kind compliment;
I think your perfectionism and visual seeking is advancing your photography to the horizons we have yet to see. :)

Thank you very much, Pete. Good to have your thoughts. :)

Nihat...words mean more to me than I can express in any way. When you combine your ability to see through the lens of a camera...and then add words like these...it's nothing short of brilliant...AND an inspiration for me to do more.
