Out walking in this immense SSSI site yesterday in the blisteringly hot sun...

It was so bright, I couldn't read the display on my camera AND for some reason (possibly age!) left the lens wide open resulting in some very soft shots...

However, I think I managed to save some...

The last one also suffered from some lateral movement, but I think this effect, coupled with the softness and subtle colour gives a good impression of the heat I was having to put up with...
