Thank you Pete. If you are refering to his face, well he is born that way. I did a whole story on him and his family years back, trying to raise money for his operation.
I had wondered just after I'd posted my reply whether my attempt at humour would actually prove to be mis-judged. My first thought was that this was another example of blurred movement - hence my comment - looking again I almost changed my comment but then made a final judgement based on the stripes. I really should have been more careful.
So, what was the final outcome of the story and this person?
He had to wait with the operation, but is now doing progress. He'll never look like you and me though, thank God There was once a collection for him, but the large sum of money was squandered by his nearest family I am afraid. Yes this is in the caribbean.
I only know Brian, that it has a certain similarity to those who are struck by the " elephant disease. The disease, which is called the Proteus syndrome, is marked by uncontrolled tissue and bone growth. And it can be dealt with to the better. But in the country where he lives, sorry, not much progress there I'm afraid. They have a huge hospital there named " Mount Hope." You ought to have a mountain of hope if they get their hands on you.
