Blimey, I can't remember the name of the hotel, but I think it was Park hotel in definitely Belgrave road where there are hundres of fairly cheap clean hotels, on both sides of the street. And this street, if senility has not set in, is the parallel one to the back of the left side of Belgrave road, looking down the road from Victoria station. That's the best I can do.
