Amazing how intact the skeleton is. A great find and nicely photographed..
A friend of mine used to photograph lots of this type of subject matter and then removed the entire background and replaced it with total black making it look like a museum exhibit. It is a wonderful way to highlight the bone structures but in some ways it is more enjoyable to see it as found, as you show it.

To be honest I have no idea where it came from, it was lying beside a waterfall I frequent. I presume it's a deer?

i thought about it Pete but last time i found a skull (a rams one) my daughter was less than impressed lol
