Divine Moments

Just another idea for a project. When using BW film I tend to try to find high contrast scenes as I find the results have more depth. A few times I found places where there would be a beam of sunlight illuminating someone or something. The chair I feel is particularly apt as it is performing pew duty in a church and the light is right on the kneeling prayer position. In the window the light illuminates a plant pot and the little girl was right in the beam of light. The idea needs a bit more developing and it is a bit of a pain as summer is nearly over.

These are either 2 stops pushed Ilford Pan 200 or Delta 100 stand developed in ID-11 for 15 minutes.

Paul, this is a frigging masterclass! Beautiful. Every one a gem. While scrolling down, I thought they couldn't get any better, then I saw the girl - perfection. You've made my day.

Magnificent Paul, carrying on from your other thread. Something very different yet equal in its delight to view and enjoy. Each of these images although very different are each as strong within what they are. Not picking a favourite here that is a certainty.

Yep yep yep...
Some of my faves of yours, wonderful! And I know exactly where your coming from with the light thing. I was thinking over this just the other day offer realising I'd taken three photos of windows from the inside of buildings pointing out and they were three of my most favourite images ...

You will spot them easy enough there ...

You have spurred me on to peruse the path!

Paul...All are just wonderful but I had a surprising...powerful...even emotional reaction to the first. Sometimes we sit in the light...sometimes the dark...but the light is always right in front of us.

What?! Seriously blown away here Paul.. I echo all the above and more into words I haven't quite fathomed out yet... Speechless!!

Been away travelling too Paul, but my good friends here told you for me and my friend Tom just said it. Wouldn't be me if I did not choose a favourite, the girl it is.;)
