DOWN THE LADDER

These are great, Julian. Really like the colours in the first and the second is just a wonderful image.
Thank you Paul. As we know sometimes and image is opened and there is little too do, or it's strengths are seen immediately to play with. Both images were like this and I put it down purely to the time of day and light.

Another fine pair from this ladder. I really like the colour image.
Thank you Pete, I do also, many say the Dp1 Merrill is the weaker of the camera's for colour. I am no expert but what wide lenses I've used they all possibly find it harder to deal with good colour rendition over say longer focal lengths. But here the Dp1 m shows it is capable of decent colour. When mentioning wide lenses of course I have not indulged with the more unaffordable Zeiss and M's which I am sure are more than capable. .

Usually I lean toward the B&W in terms of esthetic appreciation but in this instance I prefer the color version. However, must say that both are fine images.

I cannot ad anything of importance here Julian. All is actually said already, but the man reminds me of myself to a certain physiological resemblance. I do not know if that's bad? But I like them.

Ivar he is slightly shorter and wider from memory of your Nordic stealthy self, but maybe you have been at the pies of late?;)
Thank you I also quite like them , partly as I dont know the guy and poking a camera at them that close is a challenge for me, within that context. A fisherman not from these parts, he works 150 pots and keeps himself too himself. I tried to chat which he did too a point and tried to be sympathetic in the image outcomes as always.
