These big barrel Jelly fish from time to time paddle about and come into the harbour, probably hiding from there pursuer's leather back Turtles. Most of the time they go back out the harbour and carry on their way.Not this one, where most often they get pocked._P1M9194x.jpg _P1M9201.jpg

Watch out Julian, it might swallow you! Well that's a giant species and well documented.
Thank you Ivar. They are found around your coast I believe probably following the gulf stream. On occasions here, there are huge numbers passing up the coast and they swim fairly fast when needed, but am sure they use the tides as their main source of travel.
I heard on the wireless, some expert talking about them a few days ago, saying the numbers around are coast are very few, me thinks he is no expert. :D

Me thinks so too Julian :D and they are around our coasts, but I do not stoop to their level, yet. Too cold my man even though the gulf stream still operates in our waters. Some expert, honestly, said the other day that it may change it's course. Rubbish I say, and think about what that shall do to the climate up here:eek:

Too cold? I hear Norse people break the ice and jump in for a swim, or are they real men and women.
