I think that by changing the lighting conditions or perspective, you have begun to reveal another reality, that is also in itself a surface illusion. One could almost say that, if a true reality existed at all, it might be expressed through a multiplicity of surface perceptions rather than simply through verbal memory or verbal expression. Challenging and not remotely pretentious in my view!
