Indeed. I also see Hubble-type images of constellations, cloud galaxies, etc. I'd love to get the last one printed large. I've added a very slight sepia tint to these.

Yes it wa the last one which gave me the clarity of these could be fireworks. Yes be interesting to see a small test print to have an idea how it would work out. Possible very well I'd imagine.

Now, gloss or matt, what kind of paper, etc? I never feel confident choosing these things.

Well if I had answers I'd say sadly my knowledge is surface deep on inkjet printing. I tend to print with a ink roller and press, a Luddite in many areas I guess. I have many sheets of normal Epsom matte and gloss, nothing fancy that have always been good enough for what I've done, like you I dont feel confident but also like small prints over large, so mistakes are small.
