Another from the winter walk. The gate design is supposed to imitate the surroundings but I find it a little discordant. It is certainly is a feature of the garden though.

That gate looks a wee bit dangerous; I'd steer well clear of it if I were walking home one night with a few drinks in me. Interesting concept, but I agree with your opinion about it, Paul.

so what happens to the sculpture if a tree goes down? love how you have the two sides vying for attention in your comp., the left side is calm, peaceful and classical, the right is modern and a bit crazy.

Yes, that's exactly what I like about the - the confllct of the two sides, despite what is intended for the gate; it really doesn't seem to imitate its surroundings.

Yeah, there was certainly some craft involved in the fabrication but the design doesn't seem to hit mark for me. Thanks for the feedback.
