The DP1 MacKillop isn't the fastest of cameras, especially on a dull day.

She does look as if she is moving backwards...shades of Back to the Future here...

I think that the girl runs forward and the backward camera and photographer has used a flash on the first curtain movement and therefore the effect. Merrill Mackillop is it? I probably should not say this, but I like it. Seems like it was done back in the thirties
