Tech Support (and Marketing)
Some of you might know that our very own Brian Moore shares his experiences of film photography with another website!
That site is Film Photography Project

Founded by Micheal Raso, a seemingly very passionate film photographer, it's filled with useful informative info on film cameras, film and technique that is accessible for even the beginner.
As well as written articles they also feature videos covering all aspects of the medium!
Not to mention the bi-monthly Podcasts
The sites approach is very refreshing and (like Brian's photography) lacks the pretentiousness of some film photography websites!

Recent interesting articles include:

Their Mission Statement

The Film Photography Project informs, engages and inspires film enthusiasts of all levels. While promoting the viability of vintage cameras and film through product reviews, frequent giveaways and exchange programs, the FPP is building a community of photographers from around the globe to share their creative output, experiences and passion for film photography. The Project includes the Film Photography Podcast, the FPP Flickr Page, FPP YouTube Channel, Facebook page, Twitter account, newsletter and the Film Photography Project Store.

Well worth following on Twitter and or Facebook, should you be into that sort of thing!

Thanks for posting that, Hamish. What got me involved with them is their podcast. They do a 1-1.5 hour podcast twice per month. The link to the podcasts is on their website and you can download it through i-Tunes.

I'm a div sometimes ... Yes, duly added!
Micheal has told me we might just be in for a plug on one of the November podcasts ... which is always nice :)

Seems a really nice chap, its great to come across another photographer/website owner who is seemingly all about the joy of this pursuit and doesnt buy in to all ******** that often comes along with it ... I notice that like on here, there is no slagging, just positivity and a feeling of community, sharing and general niceness ...
I shall relish any association with FPP!

Yes, "Super Positive" is one of the mantras they evolved out of their podcast and this sentiment has driven the philosophy of the site. Michael is indeed a good guy.

It's always good to find people who just are happy to talk about stuff without being guarded or always angling for what they can get from you. In my line of work there are a lot of people who would tear the back pocket from the arse of your trousers given half the chance.

Well if dpreview did take from my ideas then I guess it's the same for the world of photography press ...
Thing is, I'd much rather have people "tear the back pocket off the arse of my trousers", and not do it to other people rather than the other way round ... You know what I mean?
Do things right, if people **** you over then that's their doing and so be it ... As a very good friend of mine often says "they will get theirs one day, as long as you have a clear conscience then what else matters ... No point in being bitter, it gets you no where"
There are plenty of people in the world that share this view andrhey are the sort of people I want to find on this forum and indeed associate the forum with!
