visited the family earlier this week back in manchester, came across a small fire in a cafe so had to stop & grabs some photos lol

Tom I would never judge the seriousness from the seemingless lack of action as seen by the general public. Every job I went to was serious for some one, but in terms of serious action I agree..seems well practiced and a routine shout.

A couple of BA and PPV being set up, that in itself can cause problems..

BA breathing Apparatus and PPV Positive Pressure Ventilation, (the fan with an engine being pushed) by its nature can if used at the wrong time increase the intensity of a fire.....
School over, Sorry Tom hope I didnt come over like I was taking issue its just that it is a common misconseption when flames and the like aren't popping out the rafters....and just in case you wondered I was a Watch Commander and Fire Service Instructor in a former life...

cheers folks, its was squatters upstairs in empty apartment setting small fire to keep warm that got outta control, luckily i guess there was mainly just smoke & fire brigade got there very quickly . Guy who lived next door house was full of smoke and he had to leave the house to, he was really brassed off as you can imagine, even more so the whole inside of the cafe was black with soot or smoke, he was totally devastated as exactly the same thing happened 3 weeks ago and hes had just reopened and got the place cleaned up.
