Well currently using my two 500w continuous lights. Ordered my set of three flash lights 900w =3x300w from fotobyte on Wednesday evening so should get them Monday I hope. Will be putting up some posts when I get them. Got 2 bookings already and x fingers another 6 coming so will put those up . Had to order the cheap lights n the end it was all I could afford £248 for three flashes plus stands, umbrellas, soft boxes, gels and other stuff . Will upgrade when I get more paid wor so watch this space :)

Studio is carpeted but I used white reversible roll which is a matt finish one side and on the other shiny to cover floor. All walls are painted white and ceiling . Really happy with the finish and hopefully be getting some extras n the near future

I shall be looking for some premises at some point Adam... Its a shame my studio had to close else I would have offered you work in it!
The idea, should I manage to get it up and running again, is to have a co-operative of local photogs all working out of one studio, all bringing their own styles and to some extent clients ... but using the business model to bring in clients of its own
If you are interested ill keep you in the loop ... We are having to concentrate on the web side of the business at the moment so all resources are going into that, we have just taken on one member of staff and are looking to take on another within the year... hopefully this expansion should create some funds to realise these other dreams ... hopefully ...

... its this sort of photography that i felt we couldnt supply between the photogs who i previously had interested ... its a big shame we hadnt met a year ago!!

Adam these are very good, hope you don't mind but I see a few areas where the lighting has fallen off a little, mainly top areas, easy to fix with the overlay brush, set to soft, largish and around 75% Opacity, will clean them up no end, I think this is a problem often experienced in smallish studio areas as the subject can't be positioned far enough away from the background to allow full use or the reflectors, A problem I often have myself...

Hamish I be interested to stay in the loop and hear more about the business , sounds like my cup of tea. Always up for new challenges in this field. Kev yeah see where your coming from , something I would call school boy error but easily fixed, roll on next week for the big lights , should have it down to a T then.

Really good, I would love to have a large room to set up my gear. I find that I have to hang quite a bit of blackout sheeting to get rid of rogue reflections and for some reason, I cant think why, Kerri gets upset if I leave it out for more than a few hours.
