I saw a great online video where a guy used a piece of black craft foam and 2 hair bands to shield any chance of direct light when bounce lighting. Surprising how well it worked. I made this from a sandwich cooler bag that I bought in Tesco's for £1. A few disasters later on my mum's sewing machine and I had this.
For the elastic that holds it to the flashgun I sewed a hair band into it. Also added some velcro strips incase I want to customise it later.
