Yes, really loving this Helios 44/2 (58mm lens), inexpensive glass which produces creamy/punchy/vivid colours, all for under £30, utter bargain I think.
Seems to work well connected to my Canon 12mm extension tube, a great combo, loving it.

Lovely images Peter, agreed the Helios is a bargain and so easy to take apart and clean, which is very useful. I wish all lenses were that easy to maintain. I do not used mine as much as I aught. I think all the 50mm above f1.8 are so cheap and easy to come by I've ended up with quite a few too many, so they do not get used. Trying to use the CY Zeiss 50mm f1.7 of late, maybe I'll dig out the Helios again.
