True Tom and the micro world or any place we don't often poke or noses or pass by have something to offer. It always seems to me a good idea to settle somewhere a while, it often takes time to find something, especially using a camera, where after all it is not actual object or thing we try to capture, but the reflected light which gives those forms and colours. For myself each light change creates a very different image and keeps me interested . Of course the most obvious is taking the Landscape, but those changes of light happen equally as much within the smaller worlds of course.Beautiful light and colouring on both Julian. The detail in the petals of the second is fantastic; something we might never take notice of with the naked eye. It just needs a good photograph to remind us.
Thank you Rob. I do like the DP3 and for this type of imagery it excels. I notice Clifton cameras are due some in early May, going by their site. The Quartos's are suppose to hit the shops from mid June, if that is the case their aught to be a few samples from those cameras getting onto the net soonish.Wonderful shots, both, Julian, but that first is exceptional (I hope my DP3M arrives soon!). The composition here is superb, with perfect depth of field and natural colouring. Beautiful.
I heard the quartos were very good when spelt correctly . Hope it comes soon Rob I think you'l see the difference. I do. It could simply come down to the lens, as we know lenses have a influence on image quality far greater than the sensor or film.I paid for my DP3M ages ago. They were meant to arrive early April. Now it's meant to be this coming week. We shall see.
I'm not going to look at the Quattros! Or even the Quartos!
Lovely shots Julian. The second especially so.
