was tempted not PP in b&w but thought it showed the root system off bit better as that's what kind of drew me to the tree.

yes defo bit choppy, them roots are impressive, they dont seem to attach the tree to anything. Great view and lovely PP

Now that is a truly super shot Allan and worth braving the conditions for. I would be tempted to cut a bit of the top of the tree off to bring the eye onto the water a bit. I love the roots and and the lead lin you have create using them and the stormy water and to me the horizon forms a perfect mid point that I'd try to exploit. What do you think? B&W and the tone suit perfectly and give far more ferocity to the weather than in the colour version.
