Been trying to evaluate this one Pete. my ideas why it is as I see it are to convoluted to write down. A very interesting image in it's realism as a figure, combined with it being a photograph each being very different yet having the same intentions. Excellent indeedy.

The cemetery dates back to 1716 but I didn't look too closely at many of the dates. The more open part is actually the oldest part (by the pyramid) and I stopped and photographed the grave of Keats (1821). The main area is later.

i like how you say the non-catholic cemetery in rome, sounds like it's the one and only. wouldn't surprise me if it was the only one though. great statue, looks really lifelike.
