Walking Sadie one late afternoon a few weeks ago I shot these four images within a few minutes of each other as we walked along. They are presented in the order I snapped them.

Olympus XA and Ilford HP5 processed in Rodinal.

1. Looking toward the southwest

2. Looking West

3. Looking west again

4. Looking north

A lot of posing going on there. Nice sequence, Brian. It really gives a good idea of what it's like to be there, just strolling along. Any close ups of the girl on the bike?

Nice sequence there Brian. The realty of the vertical lines...poles...piers...trees...normally something I try to avoid...add to the interest in this one.

Thanks, Glenn. It's nearly impossible to shoot a picture near the beach without getting poles, bins, etc.

What a super set Brian. Love the tones etc and overall compositions. But it is the little tableaux in each that is so interesting I think. As Rob says, there is a lot of posing in the the last three. However, it is the first that intrigues me most with that line of people. One person observed two (with one seeming to gain on the second) and another couple in a pose almost as though they are about to dance. Brilliant. :)
