Nice ( a Kate Bush smile!). Clog fighting eh? So a bit like cock-fighting? You chuck two clogs in a ring and let them battle it out! People will gamble on anything!

Not quite. Two blokes stand on a stone flag with hands resting on each other's shoulders. They then proceed to kick the crap out of each other's shins with clogs. First to step off the flag is a big Jesse

I'm intrigued though, she is looking just above the camera. Were you using a tripod (I guess not from the flash)?

I think she must have been looking at my big flash (oooh errr) rather than the camera.
She had very pale complexion - very easy to blow. So I used minimal flash by bouncing it off the high ceiling but chucking a bit forward using the bounce card to fill shadows and give catch lights. Also upped the ISO a little to make sure I got some ambient in the background.
