Back when I was working in Abu Dhabi I got involved with the local camera club and the club set various "challenges" for want of a better word. I had recently bought an Olympus E-510 and thought I would try my hand at Macro photography - not sure if this really fits into that category or still life but...
Camera: Olympus E-510 with Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4.0-5.6 lens
Exposure details: f10, 1/125, ISO 100, focal length 102mm (204mm equiv.)
Lighting: Single Multiblitz Profilux 400 at 1/2 power, 16cm reflector, directed at the ceiling.
Subject Scent bottle placed on black velvet.
No post, JPG from camera.
Viewed full screen on a 24" monitor it appears about twice life size.
Note when the scent bottle is viewed in normal light it is clear crystal cut glass with gold trim.
