Hi there. Here is a little introduction. I grew up with a Dad who loved photography. He was always trying to teach us the zone system or work in the dark room with him. I gained a great sense of artistic appreciation from him and enjoy other forms of art but never grasped onto the photography to the level he did. I have a bunch of his photo equipment and have tried selling it on Ebay but I decided I would rather try to share it with a group that I know will appreciate it. Thus my posting in the classified section. That is all there is to my introduction.

Welcome again Daniel.

These Mamiyas are super cameras but can be difficult to sell. As you know, they are quite heavy and for some utterly unknown reason seem to be difficult to sell. Good luck though. You could always hold them in reserve and see if you are tempted by what you see on the forum! ;)

Hi Daniel
This is Phil in Birmingham UK, with my wife I was in your lovely city last August. She has cousins there the Landvatters, and we were on a trip through the states, I also had some business to do, but we went down to Arches National Park for two days which was a first it was just amazing. My Nikon D 7000 overheated I did not know where to look first ! I am presenting some of my snaps from that trip to the photographic society I belong to here I think the lack of light pollution was just breathtaking you do not get that where we live ! Keep the faith with the camera its addictive !

Hi Daniel,

I have a Mamiya RB67 Pro SD system, and I encourage you to give it a go. What harm could come of it? Nothing. Worth a try.

Hope to see you around,

Rob

Carpe Diem or rather take the opportunity that lie ahead and as Rob said, you probably won't regret it. All the best and very, very welcome!
