Love the colours in the second. It looks like she is a miniature toy - odd perspective, which I do like!

Peter the symmetry in the first it superb, with the composition of the second as an equal. Colour and tones are good great images.

the colour shot is actually a little unsharp and on close inspection looks like I focused on the box in front. so I came back the next day, this place being only 15mins bike ride away, with a tripod. of course then it wasn't her turn to shut the front door....

as a foreigner it is probably ok to engage her in conversation about when she will next be on the doors (she works in the shop), but my delightful Japanese wife throws all sorts of faces when drawn on the subject.

Wonderful Peter. I do like the colours in he second but it is the first that is my favourite with just that touch of movement. It adds so much to the image I think.
