I agree and what great detail there is. I think one of the things that holds the composition is the mast and that pokey out thing on it (technical nautical term - you wouldn't understand! ). It adds solidity in a sea of detail.

The pokey-out thing with the steering wheel thing is balanced beautifully by the angle of the stairs on the harbour wall. Details ;-)
