Hard at work

Just finished this job today. A culvert running under Melton Road Leicester.
My team have done a fantastic job of hand shovelling a total 80 tonnes of dredging/silt from the culvert for the delivery of our contract with the Environment Agency. The culvert is 1.2 meters high and is not the best of places to manoeuvre around, let alone crouching 30 meters to the dig point, then to rub salt in the wounds to request them to dig. A very high profile job indeed, but successful it was too.

hard work, good image and yes there's always light in the end of the tunnel but it's hard to document one's working day, especially if you are pensioned, right Rob?
