A little mini-project that I set for myself: Street portraits of people and their headgear, shot in Lancaster, circa July 2022.

Very interesting concept for a project Chris. I can imagine that last picture being used 2 0r 300 years from now to portray "traditional Lancastrian peasant headwear." It's a classic! :D

What a great idea, and a super set of images - I do like a hat (and probably have way too many!). I love that candid one of the young woman with her carrier bag cloche! And was the pointy add-on to the lady in the beanie (eating chips) intentional?

Thanks, Pete.
The lady with the carrier bag spotted me just a moment after I hit the shutter and burst out laughing. We had a chuckle and a chat and I sent her a copy the next day, after developing. The hat annex, is something I hadn't spotted before. Now I can't not see it!
By the way, not chips but a crepe.
