Hello

Hi Hamish
Well I use a Canon 5D MkI for my digital work with L series lenses, a Tamron 28 - 75 f2.8 and a Sigma 20 - 40mm f2.8. I still
have my trusty 20D as back up. But to be honest I'm a film photographer at heart and soul and use a Bronica SQAi with 80mm and 150mm PS lenses and a newly acquired motor drive, a Mamiya Press Super 23 with a 100mm f2.8 lens and a 6x9 back and I still use my old Rolleflex TLR with a 75mm f3.5 Schneider lens. I gave up on my darkroom several years ago and scan my negs on an Epson scanner. Studilo lighting I use Multiblitz and Bowens.
That's me!
Alan

Oooo... Interesting range of kit there!
that seems to be what a lot of film photogs do these days!
I do the same with my epson (v500)
Definitely looking forward to some images now!

So you have been doing this for a while then?

How did you find the forum, just out of interest?

Welcome Alan, good to see an increase of new people joining this great forum. You'll definately enjoy it here :)

That's what I use, too, Hamish. (Mine has a problem, though. Dust on the glass. ;)

Hamish, have you tried scanning 120 film? I'm curious if you are able to preview thumbnails with consistancy. Mine works fine with 35mm, but not 120.

welcome the Best & Friendliest photography forum on the net....... & that official because i just decided.......lol

Looking forward to seeing some of your work soon :-)

I'll have to get back to you Brian ... I need to find the holder thing!
