Alice He's Back!

It's actually a beautiful photo, Pete. I can imagine a storyboard approach working well. You should have your own TV channel on YouTube.

I'll second Rob, excellent photo. On another note, if you ever tire of that bag just send it my way.

Actually, I should weigh in on my opinion of the esthetics of this image. Rob's right.:)

Also, the first picture of The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog is a stoater. I love the color palate of that one, Pete, and also how the edge of the door is just slightly OOF. It's a beautiful image.

Thank you kindly, all. I'm slowly beginning to assemble some ideas for my Alice contribution (just got to set the trap up later tonight - that rabbit could come in damned handy).

The colour palette in the first shot is the result of a layered mono and colour version - sort of simulating Bleach Bypass but without using one of the standard presets. This suited a B&W treatment better I thought (and I needed to keep the light low so as not to scare him off!). Still mulling over ideas for the final image.

As for the bag, John. I have several bags from Billingham and have yet to wear one out (I think I bought my first in about 1982, and it's still going strong). I've tried a few alternatives over the years and keep coming back to Billingham. This one is my current travelling companion and acts as my second carry-on item. As for it's contents, Martin, there's nothing that would fit your Pentax I'm afraid. There's an 18mm Zeiss Distagon in there as well as a 21mm Biogon (that was a surprise - I can't recall why I put it in) and an older 50mm Summilux as well as a small meter (Gossen Digisix) and a hand-held polariser. Plus a notebook and pen, a cleaning cloth, a collection of batteries cards and chargers and some old digital camera that I should chuck out - it only seems to take black and white shots; there must be something wrong with it ;).
