Some more images from an idea that is gradually unfolding. The blurred foot has already been posted before but this is a colour version. My idea is to strip away all but the bare minimum of what is needed to convey something. The problem is when you make the image you know what it is so its hard to tell if you have left enough or taken too much.

Thank you, Beth, Glenn. I hope they are not too washed out on some monitors. On my calibrated monitor they seem just right but on my laptop a lot of what little detail is missing.

I have no idea whether they're too washed out on my monitor or not, but I can tell you they are quite lovely on my screen, Paul. As Beth suggested, just enough detail without giving away too much.

Thanks Pete. You know what, taking intentionally photos with intentionally just the right amount of blur can be harder than taking a very sharp one.
