Holiday Cottage (2)

Very nice set, Paul. The 3rd one I like especially. The stems show up beautifully through the vase and the flower petals have a lovely softness against the backlighting.

I like these Paul. They have a different feel to the hotels but maybe more because of the more domestic furniture. They conjure up a feeling of looking around a house that is no longer used or where the occupants are sleeping or away. Again, they have a voyeuristic feel to them. I like them.

Thank you for the responses. Yes, although the holiday cottages are use frequently they do have a feel of, as you say, a house where the occupants are away. They are a lot more homely than a hotel room but just don't feel 100% right. This set is more about accepting this where as the first set posted http://www.realphotographersforum.com/general/11706-holiday-cottage.html is more about the way we (the family and I) unintentionally tried to put our mark on the place; an unconscious attempt to claim the place.

No one commented on the first set, can I push anyone to comment? It seems maybe the idea didn't work?
