Critique Welcomed Hotel Dostyk, Shymkent

Some of you may have seen my post Hotels http://www.realphotographersforum.com/general/11443-hotels.html. This post was a pilot so to speak for a series of photographs about the various hotels that I stay in. After some time in a hotel room it is the little things that sum the hotel room up and the stay for me. The photographs are intended to show these things as fragments, rather than the whole room. Still early days and some rooms are harder to photograph than others. These were taken last month in Kazakhstan.

Paul a great idea like it a lot. I started but have not fore filled something I intended of a similar nature. That was to take a shot of the view from the bedroom window of each and every motel/hotel room.

Excellent stuff Paul. I love the feel of these. Not only are they interesting from the point of view of the details and atmosphere shown, but they also reflect the isolated / transient nature of business travel.

Once again, I'm leaning towards the first two. I seem to have a natural aversion to the bathrooms, but maybe it's the Psycho thing

Thank again for the replies. Rob I imagine you like chairs because you like nothing better than a nice sit down and a nice cup of tea. I bet you let out a long breath when you slump in a soft chair.

For some reason...that visual doesn't fit into what I think of Rob. I see a blur of motion...focused on a face...while falling exhausted by a moment of crazy.
