How to hold a Quattro

Yes, that's how I've been doing it. I do get more stable hand-helds than I used to. I like the design very much. Sigma seem to always have a good reason for choosing the road less travelled.

What did we do before Utube? I know some of the factors of the form was to disperse the heat, then they needed a larger battery hence the larger side. I've not seen a problem with the form and looks ok to me. Must try one sometime

Just hop on a slow train to Edinburgh, Julian. I'll have three of them to play with by the time you get here!
Would if I could Rob. I do look on a regular basis in the hope they drop in price like the Merrills did. The days have long gone where I spend a few grand on a camera. In other words I am brasic for photography gear

Understood, Julian. That's why I'm part exchanging. Cost me £0 for two Quattros, although I no longer have my medium format gear, or the F4 and lenses.

Thanks, Pete, for the explanation!

Actually, no. I gave it charity. Some poor fellow or fellowess will appreciate it, and the charity will make a little bit of money. Hope ok?!

Now I have learned to hold it right. Now all I have to do is to find a one to practise on!:D Then a quattro 0 may be an option if I find that I can hold it right eh?
