Nice title Rob and image. Excellent balance from top to bottom. Interesting as well as I have read so much about the Quattro's and so many people demonstrating with images showing the Blown out transition from tree to shy in this scenario.
Glad to see it;s the photographers fault and in experienced, capable hands this need not be the case.
Still waiting for the big price drop.

I used a circular polariser, Julian. Worked well.

I can add little to Julian's comments and can only say, I love it. Brilliantly effective and just goes to show how interesting deep shadow can be.

Thanks, Pete. I don't know why I wanted that car wheel in frame, but it seemed a fun contrast in what otherwise might have been a fairly standard shot. Glad I got enough detail in the shadows.
