I am confused!

Ok it saith that if you will set camera on high aperture and fastest speed you will get a blur background which is depth of field ok but but it also saith that i dont have to use flash on a high aperture . I am confused if i wanna get blur background i dont have to use flash what about situation when its not enough light around ????

Hi Natalie, then you need to either increase the ISO setting on you camera (ie increase its sensitivity to light) if you are using a digital camera or use a more sensitive film, with a higher ISO rating if you are using a film camera. This allows you to keep a large aperture which will give you the shallow depth of field you are after. You can of course reduce you shutter speed and when it become too low to be able to hold the camera by hand without causing movement then maybe place the camera on a tripod or brace it in some other way. What are you trying to take pictures of?

Yeah or you can still use the flash ... There is no issue in using a flash with a large aperture
what have you read that has said this?

OK now i get it. My camera is d 7000 i have no any extra flashes or lenses just i will get it later. I have watch whole bunch of tutorials about settings at this camera and damned i set it up on m mode and set aperture on 22 it doesn't get higher and speed 25 and i still can get a blur background . also i am trying to change focus move it right or left but camera doesn't allowed me to do it .

I think aperture set at f/22 will give you more focus in the background and give you a slower shutter speed. To get a blurred background to make your subject stand out a bit more use a bigger aperture (Smaller f/ number) and this will also increase the shutter speed.
