there are times when I do not know whether I have posted a certain image here before. Is there a way I can find out from the forum. I appologise in cases where I have, on beforehand.

I have the same problem Ivar. I believe before the site got tidied up a while ago it seemed easier to access all the posts one had posted. Not found it as easy with this format.
I have not seen this image and a stunning one it is. Trust yourself I am sure you'll be told if it is a re-post.

Thank you Julian, common fate is common comfort they say up here. I'll carry on then till people tell me to stop. Honestly, I try to put everyone image I can think of posting in one folder as I have another subfolder where I put the ones I just posted, so as not to go wrong. Cheers mate. But my clumsyness and mind fails me at time.:(

Ditto I used to do that with a folder. But like my house work good intentions rarely last ;)

Ivar,...I too have sometimes wondered how to find if I have previously posted an image. Often I will first try a search by what I imagine the title may have been,...or perhaps a key word. However, I have found that the most reliable way to know is simply to post the image and let RPF's resident human photo index declare it a 1st post or re-post. (But be careful because he also serves as Chief Constable and Superintendent of the universally despised Dust Police.)

Nice shot, by the way. Haven't I see it somewhere before...? Just kidding.

Ivar, I love night photography, this photo nails everything I love about it; the lights, atmosphere, and glowing presence.

Thank you Brian, I'll remember your advice and thank you Cathy for your nice comment. I have to admit that I have litterally thousands of images of this bridge / view in every weather situation. A window and garden view.
