Ilford SFX + Medium Format Landscapes

I can't remember if I shared these before, three years ago, but as that was a long time ago I thought I would share them again. I ordered regular XP2 or similar, and got sent SFX infra-red film by mistake. I've just found them again on my external hard drive. The originals are 70+ megabytes, while these are 120kbs instead. I haven't done any editing other than reducing the size.

The camera was a Mamiya C330S, a twin-lens reflex. No filters.

Not the best photos I've ever taken, but I do like some of the quality of this film. I've just been on eBay, and ordered the 35mm version for the Hexar. Looking forward to trying that combination some day soon. I particularly like the clouds, detailed, yet soft.

What say you?

There are several here I like very much. Their subtlety and a certain radiation I feel. Just to mention one in particular, is the first one. Quite eye catching.

Thanks, Ivar. "A certain radiation" - I know what you mean. That's what I like about them. I've since learn'd that most people use a red filter on the lens when using this film, so I'll give that a try next time. I do worry it will make the shadows solid black, but we shall see. I might do half the film with the filter on, half off.
