IN CONVERSATION

Nice and gritty. Obviously British summertime. Some slightly surreal moments, the more I look at it: The guy leaning forward, the guy second from the left with a hook for a foot, the big balloon-like float, the two reclining...don't know what they are...on the right. Lots of little weird things, amounting to a fine photo, Julian!

Thank you Rob, good to see another view and the new eyes to point things out which I'd take for granted. The hook foot is a good description and did not cross my mind and to see the balloon like float now, which of course is a buff, I see them in a different light.

So do I, see them in a different light. A light I like very much, but, I feel Julian that you should have moved a little to the left, pardon me for saying so knowing the circumstances, so as to hide the one we barely see. Just a thought, but never mind, a fine image indeed.

Mmmm so you like me to make a step to the left, into the water :( It was raining Ivar and I was trying not to get that wet :D

I like this very much also, Julian. Lots of interesting detail to look at but it is the main composition that draws the attention most especially the way the chap leaning on his arm leads you in.
Thanks Pete , yes seemed to me at the time like a typical moment on the what is called the jetty, where a lot of initial repairs are done. It has nothing to do with a pub being fifteen meters away, where they take their coffee ;)
