Looks like a painting, Ivar. What is that white stuff just at the top of the plateau right and left sides?

Given that the sky is so clear I was wondering if the whiteness was some kind of post-processing artifact. Still, it's a very nice picture, Ivar. Very very Southwest. (Even though it's Utah.)

Ivar,...it could very well be Utah. It's just that to me the image connotes the Southwest very nicely.

I may be slow, absent-minded, dumb at times even short sighted, but when even my gps and my dearest companion in life also verifies that at that given moment when I was leaving, of all places " Moore's All Pine Inn " in Marysvale Utah, I was passing Butch Cassidy's homestead on the prairie, then driving to Bryce and through Escalante National park, shortly after, moving towards Nevada. I stopped in awe and maybe being deliriously intoxicated by its beauty, managed to press down the shutter on my Nikon D700 right by the roadside and still in awe, moved on. Have they moved that state further down south? It is close to Escalante National park Brian.

Not at all, Ivar. You have misunderstood me, I think. I only meant to suggest that the image conjures in my mind what the US Southwest looks like, not that it is the Southwest. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I knew what you meant, it was just a silly joke on my part Brian. A wonderful area though. I have crissed crossed the continent a few times but never really been to the deep south. As a countryboy at heart, Nashville among others would be a goal. Take care mate.
