Incredible Cloud Day

More wonderful shots Rob. The structure of the clouds in the first shot is fabulous and contrasts well with the foreground. Love the lines of the ramp and the disconnect with the causeway. And the spacing of the people.

You'd pay good money for an exfoliating scrub these days! ;)

Well, I ran into a shop and purchased some washing-up-liquid. Took all my clothes off (inspired by Dan) and covered myself in the liquid. I was a mass of bubbles by the time the bus came. :) It's all true...
Glad I wasn't there to see that. :p

On the other hand, I'm certainly glad I was here to see these images, Rob. Excellent! :)

Great stuff Rob. The first has some interesting formations.

Clouds make an image much more interesting. We get a lot of clear blue skies here, even in winter!

Thanks. I am lucky enough to live in a good part of the world for cloud formations. At worst, the sky is uniformly grey, at best it is full of interest, and constantly changing. Blue skies are rare.

The Nik filters can be useful. As ever with these things, they give you far, far more than you will ever use. After a while you will find what works for you, and stick to that. I only use three or four filters from the entire collection.

Yes for me it is justifying the cost over use. I did like the local adjustment, although with more time the exact same thing can be done in Cs6, But Nik is a faster option I think. I'll give it some thought and the exchange rate is quite good, maybe just maybe.

There's war in that sky Rob, very unusual. But below it seems to be a very pleasant day. Like having sight of the island in the distance and the ediface on the right. The second picture, though not as dramatic, looks very nice too.
