Is It Only Me Who Has Discovered That Follow Focus / Continuous Focus Works Very Well On An X-e1?

I must confess, that usually I do not use it much, never did really unless sports photography was involved. Yesterday I fiddled a little with my mistress as I choose to call her. Yes it is a female the way I caress her and much to my surprise she followed my little whim as I put her in follow / continuous focus. I just let go of the shutter button and it followed anything I pointed her at, at a speed I could absolutely live with. I then pressed the button and it instantly found the focus. I tried it again and again and it worked. No one explained to me that this was the way to do it. Formerly on DSLRs I could half press the shutter button and it followed focus. My mistress did not do that! She just said, leave me alone in my mode and touch me when you are ready. Am I still a daft Norseman or have I by incident discovered what it’s all about?:D It is amazing what a simple dicovery like this can do to a soul.on the bike, India 2009.jpg

Well it works great on my 35mm. I'll investigate some more. It's funny how them women smile at me so deviously, I have wondered for so many years. It must be my Viking helmet or my parabol on top when helmet is not in use..

As the arctic or was it attic climate which has changed, I see wonderful pictures of warmer places appear in front of my eyes, yet being in Norway. Thanks for reply. Electronics are a complicated thing.:)
