Arrived at a car park and did what needed to be done but had noticed this bit of colour in the bushes on arrival.Later getting back into the car I hesitated , then about to drive away then thought , sod it and got out, tripod up, taking away a bit of colour from otherwise a dull day.

It is amazing how colourful he seems these days;) and I certainly appreciate that side of him where he finds all this colour in an otherwise utterly grey time. He seems to discover the small beautiful things while others, as me for instance, only have an eye for a much wider perspective. I envy him that abillity.

I thought you may have written ''He seems to discover the small beautiful things while others, as me for instance find a bridge :p''
Thank you Ivar, back from a rest from computers a good post to read. Off out too find some colour in this very dreary grey county of Cornwall ;)

Your quote is practically the same I guess:)

A great image Julian...the little plant valiantly trying to hold onto a last bit of colour before the onset of winter...

Thanks Doug and true I went there yesterday and looked out for the one bit of colour in that hedge. It was no longer there. Blown away no doubt with the winds we have been having, nothing like what have swept the north though.

You can say that again, our storm by the name of NINA has destructed parts of our western side of the country, where rooftops have been ripped off their houses. A sad case. I on the other hand has only experienced my hat flying off my skullbox.:D

No doubt, without natures thermal offerings that must have been a hyperborean experience. ;)
