Thanks, Rob. Yes you've undoubtedly seen it before. Huntington Beach Pier of course,...with the view looking to the north.
When I took the picture I left my card with Jeff and invited him to contact me if would like a copy of the picture and he did so a few days later. I sent him a copy of the image and he liked it. In his initial E-mail to me he expressed a desire to see some of my other photos so when I sent him the image I also included the links to my website and my Flickr photo stream. So a few days after that he E-mailed me back with some very nice comments about my photography overall and particular remarks about certain images and my "style." He seems a delightful and sensitive fellow; I hope to see him again someday.

Very good Brian, I honestly like this style of yours quite a lot and the story to it. I do not know however, what "the positing " means as someone mentioned though. It is all greek to me
