The engine and wing of a 787 at 40,000 feet, over eastern Russia

The engine and wing of a 777 at 33,500 feet, at sunset, somewhere over the Aleutian Islands (as an aside, we were traveling at 700 MPH ground speed - had a 150 MPH tailwind). Caught the navigational strobe illuminating the engine pod

Thank you Pete and Roshni for your comments. Pete, for the most part there is not much to look at (or shoot for that matter) out the window), and the window is usually dirty on the outside and inside. Sometimes I get lucky with a clean window and something to see outside.

Those are beautiful! Love the first one; the curves of the wing and horizon plus the sky darkening to black makes it look as if you heading into space.
