For me, Joel Meyerowitz is THE street photographer. He creates amazing images and stories without intrusion and with great empathy; sometimes engaging, sometimes invisible. This short narrated slide-show sums up so many things that I find so fascinating about photography; ambiguity, evocation, juxtaposition. I shall be ordering his new book for sure!

Thanks for that Pete, I remember him being interviewed a while back for a documentary, Can't remember which, but he was talking then about his first reactions at the twin towers, very moving..
