Just One More

Waterstone's in Princess Street - they do indeed have a cool photography section, and they placed it right next to the cafe - nice place to get a drink and read a few photography books.

What a great bookshop. I'm intrigued by Soviet Ghosts.

I don't own it but I have looked through it - excellent work. Rebecca Lichfield is the queen of abandoned places photography. I will likely pick it up sometime. The subject material also has some personal relevance given my work in East Germany many years ago for You Know Who

She works with a Mamiya Leaf MF I believe.

I think she is sponsored by Mamiya - either free or at a greatly reduced price.

You smuggled Schweppes into the DDR?! Good man! ;)

Thanks for the background on the book and photographer - I shall explore further.

I suppose "smuggling" might be one way to describe what we did, but it certainly wasn't tonic water ;)
